Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
This week’s topic is top book to movie adaptations that I’m looking forward to.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
I didn’t fall in love with the books, but I’m hoping the big screen brings this story to life in a big way.
The 5th Wave
I really liked this book and think that the casting is great. Very excited for this movie!
In The Heart of the Sea
I haven’t read this book yet, but have it and think it will make a beautiful film.
Allegiant/Ascendant
I’ll be honest and say that this was my least favorite of the Divergent series. But I think the movies will be entertaining even if they don’t follow the book.
A Monster Calls
I absolutely fell in love with this story when I read it and I think it will be such a good movie.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Obviously I’ll watch anything that has anything to do with Harry Potter.
World War Z 2
I know World War Z was only one book, but the first movie had me on the edge of my seat. I literally screamed at one part, which almost never happens to me. I will definitely be watching this next one.
Ready Player One
I knew this would become a movie as I was reading the book. The story is just too good to leave on paper. I just hope that it is done well and the casting is good.
Looking For Alaska
I love John Green so I will probably watch anything that has to do with him.
Thirteen Reasons Why
This was a gritty and powerful story on paper and I expect nothing else on the big screen.
Are there any adaptations that you’re looking forward to that I missed? Let me know!
Love this list! I’m so excited about all these movies!

I don’t know really, but I liked the first one and am excited about another! It’s not happening for a while though, so maybe I’ll be able to read the book by then!

I’ve been reading all sorts of Zombie stuff this year. Rot and Ruin by Maberry, Feed by Grant, The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Ryan. I have The Enemy by Higson but haven’t read it yet. I had no idea I liked zombie stuff so much!

Rot and Ruin is on my TBR list. Right now I’m reading Hell is Empty and All the Devils Are Here. Kind of like 28 days later. Its not *technically* a zombie novel, but close enough I’d tell zombie-lovers they’d probably like it.
