I’ve got big plans for December! I want to finish this year strong as I gear up for a GREAT reading year next year. There are 3 readathons going on in the month of December, so that will push me to read more than I’ve been reading lately (adulting is lame).
These are a few of the books that I’m planning on reading in December:
Golden Son by Pierce Brown – I just finished Red Rising last week and gave it 5 stars! I’m currently reading Golden Son and loving it. Can’t wait for Morning Star in February!
Deadline by Mira Grant – I finished Feed last month and really really liked it, so I’ll be continuing the series in December.
Their Fractured Light by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner – Uhh.. hello! Of course I’m going to read this as soon as I get to the front of the hold line at the library. This was one of my most anticipated reads of 2015. Can’t wait for more of Tarver.
Ink and Bone by Rachel Caine – This is a series that I’ve been wanting to start for a while. I got my copy not too long ago in a #booksfortrade and it’s been a LONG time since I started a series and had to wait for the next books, so I’m excited to jump on a fan bandwagon again.
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare – I know, I know, I should have read this by now. I haven’t though and I want to read the series before the show comes out, so December is a great month to start!
Darkest Minds series by Alexandra Bracken – In anticipation for Passenger (out next year), I’m participating in a Darkest Minds readalong. I haven’t read the series yet, though I have the first 2, and can’t wait to jump into the series. I’ve heard great things.
Saga, Volume Five by Brian Vaughan and Fiona Staples – Just waiting for the hold to come into the library… *taps foot and twiddles thumbs* any day now…
Runaways: The Complete Collection Volumes 2, 3, and 4 by Brian Vaughan (vol. 2 and 3), Adrian Alphona (vol. 2 and 3), Takeshi Miyazawa (vol. 2), Mike Norton (vol. 3), Marvel Comics (vol. 4) – I already have these collections and plan on reading them in December!
Rat Queens, Volumes 1 and 2 by Kurtis J. Weibe, Roc Upchurch, Stjepan Sejic – I’m searching for other graphic novels that hook me and Rat Queens is a title I keep hearing, so let’s give it a shot!
The Wrenchies by Farel Dalrymple – Stand-alone graphic novels have been kind of a let down for me, so we’ll see if Wrenchies can turn it around.
What are you planning on reading to close out the year?
